Although Daybreak in Alabama is a brand of the Interfaith Mission Service of Huntsville, Alabama, any and all content of posts authored from this site as part of this blog is the sole insight, idea, and perspective of the primary author, Debbie Esslinger. I do not speak for IMS through this blog: I simply am encouraging people to learn, to think, and to make their own decisions about issues broached, and if those decisions lead to personal action, then even the better. The intent of this blog is to bring into dialogue certain social justice issues and promote interest and understanding of those issues. It is hoped that this site can be a safe place to publicize and promote discussion, and to provide information about workshops, volunteer opportunities, and agencies that focus on the issues.
